West Africa: Village Pastors' Needs
Poverty, drought, tribal violence—and Islam—dominate West Africa. Over two hundred remote villages, separated by many miles, dot the parched landscape in one region. Villagers, isolated and lonely, die unaware that there is One called the Christ who loves them. The harvest is ready. And in this case, the laborers are ready. What inhibits the mission to evangelize villages, and to build the church, is not a lack of evangelists or pastors. It is a lack of resources. Our ministry partner in West Africa helps to supply these resources—whether they are bicycles or motorcycles for transportation between villages, chapels to protect believers from the intense sun, emergency food to replace a pastor’s crops that were burned, or funds to supply the meager income that village pastors receive. Your gift helps support these dedicated pastors in their service to Christ.
