When a loved one passes away, they exchange our embrace for the loving arms of Jesus. Their pew in church or their seat at the dinner table may be empty, but we know that a glorious place in heaven has just been filled. And though we can no longer see them, we remember them well.
Through our loss, we long to somehow honor their memory in a meaningful way, to visibly 
commemorate their personal value and life message. Their legacy continues with us. We want everyone else to know how special this loved one was, how much they meant to us, how their life radiated the glory of God. We want their witness to live on in and through the lives of others.
The SMI Memorial Fund was established for this purpose. With personal care and specific sensitivity, we enable you to create a memorial for someone dear to you, to continue the work that was important to them, to carry on their legacy in the lives of many others.
As you remember your loved one, and contemplate their life interests, their passions, and their life’s work, what was important to them? How would they want you to remember them?
For one whose life was one of prayer, a Christian prayer hut can be established in a Muslim community or a beautiful Prayer Garden; for one who loved children, there are several opportunities to provide basic life needs for little ones, such as schooling, food and clothing.
Perhaps your loved one was involved in ministry. We have several programs created to train National pastors and lay leaders to better share the gospel and reach the lost around them.
If your loved one had a burden for abused and disadvantaged women, there are unique opportunities to gift these women with the means to support themselves while introducing them to the greatest Love they will find on earth.
