PRAISE THE LORD!No longer will women trek barefoot across miles of savannah to fill their jars at stagnant pools of scummy water.
No longer will their children swallow the dreaded worm-larvae just to quench their thirst.
No longer will their husbands be unable to work for weeks due to excruciating pain, as three-foot worms emerge from their hands and feet.
Instead, they and their families will enjoy accessible, clean water, and healthy future. Your gifts have enabled an entire community to see God’s love in action!
We are humbled by your faithfulness, and moved by your heart for the suffering. Perhaps you cannot even imagine what it would be like to live in Ghana’s arduous heat, plagued with disease and hunger, but you understand what breaks the heart of God and are swift to help where you are able. Thank you! Almost with tears we read in a letter from one donor the following words:
“I don’t know how I could do anything else….I just pray that God will take care of his sheep in Sukaya and his sheep like you and me.”
What a testimony! We have no choice but to praise our compassionate, miracle-working Father for allowing us to be part of His work in Sukaya. And we also ask Him to send the Gospel there in a powerful way. Isaiah 12:3 says, “With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation,” and we are confident that God can use the blessing of clean, ordinary water to lead his children in Ghana to the source of Living Water. We raise a shout of praise for what God has done today, and offer a prayer of supplication for what He will do tomorrow.
