Christians Falsely Sentenced

December 17, 2010

UPDATE: This October, two Christians in TURKEY were acquitted of “insulting Turkishness.” They were, however, convicted of collecting information on citizens without permission, even though the citizens volunteered their contact information. These two believers have been in a legal battle for over four years for their involvement with a Bible correspondence course.

Pray for wisdom and that they will not have to pay a large fine or serve a 7-month prison sentence. “...the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death...”
