Challenges facing Turkish churches

February 23, 2009

Turkish Christians have issued a report on the difficulties facing churches who want to construct buildings.  Current rules require a larger plot than most small congregations can afford or need.  The rules are also vague enough that local officials can arbitrarily deny applications.

Pray that new and more equitable laws will be established.  Pray also that believers will be salt and light, drawing many to the knowledge and love of God.  "And through them [I] have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations."
