Teen Forgives Persecutors

UPDATE: A Christian teen who survived kidnapping, torture, rape, and death threats in northern SUDAN now declares that she is praying for the Muslims who abused her— that they will come to know Jesus and His forgiveness.

Ask God to use her faith and testimony to touch the lives of many. “Remember Your mercy, O LORD, and Your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.”

We have been praying for Hiba since April, when the kidnapped teen was still missing. Later when we learned of her escape, she still feared that criminals were trailing her. She received horrible treatment from her kidnappers during her captivity and was left traumatized. Later in an interview she publically stated that she is praying “to Jesus that He reveals Himself to my assailants and forgives them for what they did to me.” The testimony of this sixteen-year-old is being spread by others. What a powerful story of forgiveness!
