Final Testimony of Mehdi Debaj
In 1984, Iranian pastor and former Sunni Muslim Mehdi Dibaj was arrested and imprisoned for apostasy. He was charged with apostasy and detained in Sari Prison in Mazandaran until January 1994, spending at least two years in solitary confinement.
After nearly ten years in prison, Pastor Dibaj was given a trial. In December 1993, he appeared before the Islamic Revolutionary Tribunal of Sari.
