Water Truck in West Africa

"And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water..." (Matt. 10:42)

In the village of Fooshegu there was no water. One woman walked several miles to scoop thick, muddy water from shallow pools. The situation dragged on for days; even the mud holes dried up.

"Then," writes our West African ministry partner, "we got to the village with the truck. We greeted the chief and told him our mission."

As a gong was beaten, children, women and men came running, carrying containers. As they received fresh, clean water, one Muslim man said he had told his wife about a dream, in which Christians brought them water to drink. More than 1200 people received water from the truck you helped provide!

We are tremendously grateful to the Lord for you and your part in making the Water Truck a reality. With gifts large and small Smyrna Ministries International was able to send $54,000 (well over the goal of $45,000) to purchase and equip the truck and provide enough funds to meet start-up costs.

Our ministry partner writes: "Pray as we share the spiritual water with them and other villages, many will drink it and will never thirst again!
