Continued Deportations in Morocco

May 18, 2010

Over 60 Christians working in Morocco, not including children, have already been deported, and others fear they may be next. Some were given only 48 hours to leave the country. Wives who were allowed to remain longer were forced to pack up and sell belongings on their own before they rejoined their husbands.

Our sources say that King Mohammed VI and his recently appointed minister of justice are responsible for some of the recent challenges to Christians in Morocco. Pray that these leaders will cease their assault on Christianity. Pray also for the many Christians who fear they may be deported next. May God give them peace and confidence in Him.
