Status of the Persecuted Church in Chad
January 15, 2010
Muslim Population: 53.1% (Christian Population: 34.3%)
Though the government has long favored Islam over Christianity, it is now supporting a Bible translation and distribution project. At long last Chad’s Christians have access to Bibles in their own language. Despite this encouraging development, there is still much governmental favoritism toward Muslims—they receive tax benefits and financial support as well as expedited permissions for meetings and building projects. There are many mosques but few churches. And the church in Chad now has great need for sound doctrinal teaching.

Spiritual Hunger in Chad

January 23, 2012

Our ministry partner in West Africa reports after a recent visit to CHAD that a cloud of physical and spiritual hunger looms over the nation.

Ask God to help him as he seeks to encourage and assist believers in Chad. Pray that Chadian Muslims will find the Bread of Life. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Radical Muslims sow misery

July 11, 2008

Chad's Christians are suffering after radical Islamic rebels struck the government. Continued fighting has left many in Chad without food or shelter.

Pray that God will provide for His people, and that they will be able to share the love of Christ in the midst of this terrible situation. "And this shall be the sign for you: this year you shall eat what grows of itself, and in the second year what springs from that. Then in the third year sow and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat their fruit."

Chad stops jihadist leader

September 21, 2008

Chad arrested an Islamic spiritual leader who was stirring up his followers to bring "holy war" against Christians and other infidels from Africa all the way to Europe.

Pray that all the works of Satan will be cast down through the victory of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ. "But my kingdom is not from the world."
