Cathedral bombing thwarted in the Philippines

June 4, 2008

Suspected Islamic militants affiliated with Abu Sayyaf, a branch of al Qaeda, attempted to bomb a cathedral in the Philippines.  They were stopped in time -- although the bomb went off and a wall and windows were damaged, no one was injured.  Thank God for protecting His people.

Pray that He will continue to keep them in His watchful care.  "Fear not, O Zion;  let not your hands grow weak."
